 Fast
smart charging. How sweet is that! Your JETs’ got you covered
with the best fast charger in the industry. We can charge our large
capacity NiMH battery in 5 hrs or less. Our charger is so smart
that it can figure out if your battery is full or empty in 15 mins
and adjust the charge time accordingly. Once your battery reaches
full the intelligent charger goes to sleep. It wakes up every 12hrs
and checks your battery and then gives it a top off charge to ensure
you always leave with a full charge.
Battery Fuel Gauges
 These
little babies are not a science project for the fain of heart. A fuel
gauge is a friend to every battery owner and a nemesis to every scientist
that has ever tried to design one. If you have a lot spare time, about
$20,000 in circuit design software, and some radical free brain cells
that you want to kill off, then have it trying to make one these electronic
toys. For the rest of us spend about $30 and just buy one of ours.
Its really nice to look at your fuel gauge when your 10 miles back
in the woods and you’re trying to decide, should I go for that
second loop or head home. Batteries without fuel gauges are no help
in answering the question Should I or Shouldn’t I.
Power Saver Switching
 Some
of you guys just can’t seem to get enough of night riding. So
we developed Power Saver Switching, PSM. PSM gives you the ability
to reduce your wattage consumption on any given light bulb. You can
select between a power savings rate of 25% or 50%. Effectively doubling
the run time of your battery pack. PSM is a computer controlled switching
system that actually turns your light On/Off at high frequency. The
naked eye can’t see it happening but it is. The net effect is
a reduced drain rate on your battery so longer rides are possible.
NiMH Batteries
 The
advanced chemistry of NiMH batteries is preferred for bike lights
because of its relatively constant voltage output, memory free characteristic,
and lightweight. However, high capacity NiMH batteries should only
be charged with a smart charger to ensure their long and productive
life. Overcharging of these batteries causes the cells to overheat
which will reduce the packs useful life.
